Jenn's art studio is the creative sanctuary of Jennifer Verdieu - an abstract expressionist and symbolist painter whose work explores the hidden territories of the self. Born in Haiti and once immersed in the world of medicine, Jennifer made the radical decision to leave clinical precision behind to pursue a more intuitive dissection: one of the psyche, memory, and emotion. Her studio is where intellect meets instincts. What began as an act of personal liberation has involved into a space where ancestral memory, spiritual inquiry, and social commentary collide. With a palette often dominated by black and negative space, her canvases reveal tension between chaos and order, between the visible and the veiled. Jennifer's visual language is shaped by symbols: fractured faces, recurring eyes, masks, and geometric codes. These motifs speak to migration, womanhood, trauma, and resilience- experiences both personal and collective. Each paintings is a meditation, an evacuation of the soul, and a confrontation with the masks we wear to survive
